The Puerto De Indias brand started back in 2013, with only four workers originally, the brand has come a long way. This gin is now Spain’s fourth biggest selling gin and the company now employs over 100 people and is also considered an important employment source in Carmona (Seville), Spain.

Although Seville, Spain is well known for its Seville oranges, it’s also lesser known for its amazing strawberries, which is where this gins origins begin. This gin recipe was almost stumbled on, while trying to make a failed strawberry liqueur, they accidentally came up with the recipe for this beautiful strawberry gin!

As you’d expect being a Spanish gin, it’s very citrusy flavoured, from Grapefruit through to Lime, Lemon and Orange this gin has a beautiful citrus base. Simply from opening the bottle, you’re greeted with gorgeous aromatic strawberry scents with subtle juniper and citrus undertones.

Serving Recommendation

This gin can be enjoyed neat over ice, we’ve also tried this with some lemonade which was also lovely over ice. Alternatively a Premium Indian or Mediterranean Tonic garnished with Strawberries and Lime wedge really brings this gin to life.
