On AIDS
- I readily accept the position of Co-Chairman of Transatlantic Partners Against AIDS, because I understand the scope of the HIV/AIDS problem which Russia will have to face in the near future. We must join forces on both sides of the Atlantic to use best international practices to raise awareness and a sense of responsibility among Russians to themselves and others. We must work to improve the quality of treatment and care. And, we cannot forget about the rights of those who are already infected. All this is crucial for Russia's future.
