Sergei Mironov has made an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan
October, 25. Chairman of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov has made an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan on the 23-25th of October.
In the evening October, 23 Sergei Mironov has been met at the airport by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotent of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan Ramasan Abdulatipov and Chairman of Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Makhmadsaid Ubajdulloev.
October, 24 Sergei Mironov has given a complimentary speech at the opening ceremony of III Inter-Parliamentary forum “Tajikistan – Russia: Potential of Interregional Cooperation”.
Sergei Mironov has noted that the forum is becoming more effective means of solving Russian-Tajik relations that are on the upgrade. He has stressed that wide scale of Russian-Tajik collaboration includes political, economic, human, military and other spheres. «One can state for sure that our relations that are in the form of strategic partnership and alliance, define not only our people future but the situation in all the Middle-East region as well» - he said.
Sergei Mironov has noted as well that it can be proved by fruitful collaboration of Russia and Tajikistan in numerous regional organisations, such as CIS, EurAsEC, CSTO, Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Chairman of the Federation Council has signed a number of agreements on collaboration of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and regions and sectoral structures of the Republic of Tajikistan in the course of the forum. After the signing ceremony Sergei Mironov has taken part in press-conference on the results of the meeting.
In the framework of official visit Sergei Mironov has met principal Tajikistan leaders: President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister Akil Akilov, Chairman of Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli Makhmadsaid Ubajdulloev and Chairman of Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli Saydullo Khayrulloev.
Sergei Mironov and Makhmadsaid Ubajdulloev have discussed the effectiveness of inter-parliamentary Russian-Tajik forums and agreed on their annual holding. Sergei Mironov stressed the importance of participation of regions of Russia and Tajikistan in them.
Makhmadsaid Ubajdulloev has proposed to host the forum not only in Moscow and Dushanbe, but also in St. Petersburg.
Sergei Mironov and Saydullo Khayrulloev have discussed the matters of intergovernmental collaboration
and the prospects of legislative cooperation of our states in international parliamentary organizations.
Sergei Mironov and Emomali Pahmon have discussed the matters of bilateral social-ecologic relations and collaboration in the CIS framework.
Moreover, Sergei Mironov has participated in the opening ceremony of Russian cultural-information center of the “Russian World” fund at Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni and has laid flowers to the monument to Ismoil Somoni, the founder of the first centralized Tajik state – The House of Saman.
Russian centers give access to Internet resources, satellite television and also to science researches, classic and modern literature of Russia.
Sergei Mironov has expressed his regret on the fact that there is a tendency of narrowing of Russian language area outside Russia. As Sergei Mironov has said, “Russian language is a basis of diplomacy, that strengthens collaboration and brings together people of different countries”.
“A new bridge of friendship has been thrown in order to bring together people of our states” - Sergei Mironov said.
