Sergei Mironov has hosted the session of the Organizational Committee of VI Baikal Economic Forum

July, 13. Chairman of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov has hosted the session of the Organizational Committee of VI Baikal Economic Forum.

The participants of the session have discussed the preparation for the forum, including plenary sessions, round table sessions and business events organization.

VI Baikal Economic Forum, traditionally initiated by the Federation Council, shall be held in Irkutsk on September 7-10, 2010. Major topics for discussion shall include economic modernization, innovative development, Lake Baikal ecosystem protection, tourism, and other current issues.  

Chairman of the Federation Council told the participants of the session that the representatives of France, Ukraine, China, South Korea, Poland, Tadzhikistan, Mongolia, Singapore, India and other countries have expressed their willingness to participate in the forum.
