Meeting with Asser Kapere

July, 2. Chairman of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov has met Chairperson of the National Council of the Parliament of the Republic of Namibia Asser Kapere.

The parties have discussed the issues of mutual interest, including the development of interparliamentary cooperation. They have agreed to develop and sign the Agreement on cooperation between the Federation Council and the National Council of the Parliament of the Republic of Namibia.

The participants of the meeting have also discussed the prospects for interregional cooperation between the subjects of the Russian Federation and the provinces of Namibia.

Asser Kapere told Sergei Mironov that Namibia has relaxed visa requirements for Russian citizen and expressed his hope for Russia to consider the issue of visa requirements relaxation for the citizen of Namibia as well.

He has invited Sergei Mironov to visit the Republic of Namibia with an official visit at any time he finds convenient.
